Spinning! Mahogany Wool Top

I must have a terrible eye for color. I was rather put off by this fiber - but I wanted to just spin something so I randomly grabbed it out of my big tub of fiber. It is from The Woolery and my guess is this was purchased in 2008 or so - making it several years old. I'm also not sure what type of wool it is since it is just labeled "Wool Top" and the colorway is Heather Mahogany.

It is actually quite beautiful, and so soft! The base is a very rich, warm brown with bits of sky blue and navy blue running through it along with some notes of dark red. I'm excited to get the singles finished and plied - I'm aiming for a fingering-weight 2-ply.
