I'm making progress on my New York Cardigan, in between class, work, and company.
The original pattern is written with a nightmareish amount of seaming, so I re-wrote it as a bottom-up contiguous raglan. The only seaming will be to extend the shawl collar to the back of the neck, but it will be minimal. I have a few more inches to go on the body before it goes onto scrap yarn while I knit the sleeves... still haven't calculated those out just yet. The sleeves as-written have no shaping, so I need to bust out the tape measure and do some math for my three-quarter sleeves.
It's nice that the days are getting longer and more sunny... of course the change hasn't gone unnoticed!
