Ravellenic Victory!

I completed my shawl on time! Remember this blue pullover I picked apart?
Well, it is now an Abrazo Shawl!

The yarn is fingering weight, and this was knit on size 7 needles. It used up approximately 320 yards. I used the lace cast described in this blog post by Eunny Jang because I just could not get the backwards loop cast on to work for me... in casting on so many stitches it was difficult to keep the cast on row from twisting over on itself. The lace cast on was not quite as stretchy as I might have liked, but I think that would easily be remedied by using that cast on on larger needles. I find that the lace cast on provides a little more structure for that first row.

Two holiday shawls down, three to go!
